Job Description

Dogwood is seeking a very talented Data Engineer professional for a full-time and remote position offering a competitive salary, and excellent benefits. Corp-to-Corp or W2 hourly rate setup is also available. We are looking for a career-minded individual.

Must have an Active IRS MBI Clearance

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Active IRS MBI Clearance required.
  • 5+ years working with specified software language as a developer
  • 2+ years using Rational Team Concert or equivalent toolset
  • Demonstrated Control-M experience (for ETL developers)
  • Hands on Greenplum Experience Development PM is considered key personnel
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with Python programming for data processing and automation.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
  • Experience with identity management and control flow (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to efficiently extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into our data warehouse or data lake.
  • Develop and implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) to build scalable and cost-effective data solutions.
  • Implement data governance and security best practices to protect sensitive information.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering technologies and trends.
